Hardware

The BLUVISION® Discrete Analyzer delivers fully automated, walk-away operation, minimizing manual intervention and increasing laboratory efficiency. Its advanced system handles every step of the colorimetric analysis process, including:

-> Automatic sample and reagent pipetting into cuvettes

-> Precision mixing and controlled heating for optimal reaction conditions

-> Integrated blank correction for accurate measurements

-> High-resolution photometric detection ensuring reliable results

Feature Highlights:

The BLUVISION® Discrete Analyzer is designed for high-throughput water analysis, offering 100 sample positions across 5 racks, each holding 20 samples. This flexible setup allows sample volumes ranging from 3.5 to 10 ml, ensuring versatility for various applications.

For reagents, stock standards, and quality controls (QC’s), the analyzer provides:
24 reagent positions (50 ml capacity)
8 reagent positions (10 ml capacity)

To maintain sample and reagent integrity, the racks can be actively cooled throughout the analysis run, ensuring stable conditions and reliable results.

The BLUVISION® Discrete Analyzer is designed for high-throughput, fully automated water analysis, featuring a 160-position cuvette tray with continuous sample loading for maximum efficiency.

Autoloader System – Automatically loads cuvette blocks, allowing up to 640 consecutive tests without operator intervention
7-Hour Walk-Away Time – Enables unattended operation, maximizing lab productivity
Temperature-Controlled Cuvette Tray – Ensures stable reaction conditions for highly precise colorimetric analysis
Continuous Sample Loading – New samples can be added during a run, eliminating downtime

With long walk-away times and seamless automation, the BLUVISION® is ideal for environmental, wastewater, and drinking water laboratories requiring efficient, high-precision nutrient analysis.

BLUVISION® discrete analyzer - Autoloader for cuvette blocks

The instrument uses one needle for dispensing sample and reagent into the cuvettes. The needle can pre-heat the samples and reagents before dispensing. A long-life and high-precision pump is used for sample and reagent pipetting.

The detector of the BLUVISION® analyzer is equipped with a halogen light-source and a filter wheel containing 8 filters with different wavelengths. The BLUVISION® is therefore capable of running more than 8 different parameters in one run without any operator intervention. The filters can be easily changed for different parameters.

The cuvette has an optical path-length of 15 mm which allows accurate low ppb level detection. The cuvette blocks are disposable, which eliminates any carry-over between tests.
